Anti Leprosy Week Activities

The Anti Leprosy Week began with a Leprosy Awareness Rally on the death anniversary of Gandhiji, to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s close association with leprosy patients.  It is a week of ongoing activities which will culminate on February 5th 2010.

The beginning of the Anti Leprosy Week Activities was marked by the garlanding of Mahatma Gandhi’s photograph on 30.1.10 his death anniversary, a day observed as Anti Leprosy Day because of the love and care gvien to leprosy patients by Mahatma Gandhi
