LSS Microscopy Centre – Bainganwadi

Mr. Chowdhury- Local Corporator fondly known as Jillu Bhai cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the opening of the new microscopy centre at Bainganwadi

The new Binocular Microscope funded by Fairmed. 3220 slides were analysed from this area in 2010. 666 were new patients that came for diagnosis out of which 54 turned out positive for Tuberculosis. 8% positivity rate justified the opening of a lab in this area for the convenience of the patients
